I've always thought people who abuse animals and children should be dealt the same fate as their victims. They are monsters.

Abusing animals is dreadful matter. But the people doing it had an unfortunate childhood and they probably lived through very harsh times.
To stop animal abuses the society should concentrate more on child abuses and not just direct ones , but the more subtle ones like decadent TV shows or disorders in grownup behavior (especially police taser-gun behavior). Why should the US spend all that money on war and not provide good education for children , or even law enforcement for animal abusers.
I will subscribe to your cause that is just, even though I find it a little shallow.
Thanks for putting this problem into the light.

hey your profile picture icon thing is basically the same as mine! n_n
i think anything and everything should be done to ensure no animal is put through abuse. Abusing an animal horrible thing for a person to do and i hope anyone who does abuse animals will get the appropriate punishment. eg - cut off their hands! Well not that far, I just wanted to show my point.
I would like to send an email to the email you supplied but, i fear i will get inundated with emails. I did that with peta2! Got people to sign a petition and now theyre getting emails from them :D

The way to effect change in animal abuse laws is to inflict much harsher penalties on the abuser. The F.B.I. recognizes that many serial killers abuse pets in their early years. Current humane laws are a joke in the U.S. Legislation needs to be passed that sentences abusers to more than $5,000 and/or a year in jail. Schools need to implement educational problems to teach children how to handle their pets at home in kindergarten. You simply cannot catch a child too early to impress respect for those on four legs upon them.
And Jizza? You're still a leg.

i hate animal abusers. my cat got it's ribs broken and ahd to be put down because of our former neaighbours. THe law is stricter now though but not strict enough.
if you injure and say it wasn't you there isn't a case but if there's a death involved they get about 3 months, i'd like them to have at least 1 and a half years.

give it a rest... animals are simply beasts of the earth that man has the right to do whatever they want to them. we eat animals everyday that are slaughtered and fattened just for our eating pleasure. so thats abuse id say in the worst way, yet we condone it. in conclusion, call me mean if you like, but my point of view is that as long as your not maliciously like starving your pets and leaving them outside to freeze to death in winter its not a big issue. like say if a cat or a dog of yours eats a sheet of cookies or something that ya left out or claws something up a good smack is fine and if you dont agreee thats your opinion.
