What are some good country singers...someone like Missy Higgins or Lisa Mitchell...I dont wana know lots of people that are old i want some that are new artists!

May I ask you why you don't want to know about the older artists. If not for them these new shave tails would have never gotten the chance to showcase themselves. They owe their opprtunities to the older people. Without Hank Williams,Ernest Tubb,Merle Haggard,George Jones, Willie Nelson, Lefty Frizzell,Jimmie Rodgers and many others these new faces would never have been seen. So they may be old but they were and are the greatest.

Well most of them are the older artists in my opinion but I will say Trisha Yearwood, Martina Mcbride, Danni Leigh are some of my favorites.. Male wise, Joe Nichols, Blake Shelton, Randy Owen, George Strait are some good ones.

For modern country choose Dixie Chicks, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill
