Edit: to Sageandscholar- it is definately NOT a consensus. You get with the program and quit being a socialist lemming.

Edit: Well said Ninja Rabbit! I would encourage all the Al Gore lemmings to read "The Politically Incorrect Guide to Global Warming". It pretty much blows the lid off of the man-made global warming myth.

Common sense, its so refreshing to read your questions. I am so happy there are others that feel as i do. Al Gore is nothing more than a power hungry fool. He is playing on peoples fears far more than President Bush and eventually we will all be paying for his antics. I noticed no reports on CNN this morning about the Judge in the UK finding 9 blat en lies in his "Inconvenient truth" and ruling that way in a court of law, I wonder if the mainstream media will cover that?

Wow, this is purely extraordinary. It falls in line with the two men's political techniques in spite of the undeniable fact that. Al Gore is a wealthy liberal. this implies he might like truthfully everyone to make sacrifices, yet he might desire to be on acceptable and revel in his existence form. George W. Bush is a wealthy conservative. this implies he's maximum possibly functional. His homestead has been designed so as that no longer purely is it means useful, in spite of the indisputable fact that it possibly expenses little to run and take care of. considering he's functional, he hasn't endorsed issues like the Kyoto treaty, considering they do no longer make financial experience (i.e. you get small benefit, or none in any respect, for a super fee). you ought to additionally point out out what form of unfavourable impact Gore's particular stay overall performance sequence had on the atmosphere. he's unquestionably a wolf in sheep's clothing and for the Nobel committee to no longer see that asserts plenty. i assume they actual do no longer hire the proper and the brightest.

Yep considering his movie now has to come with disclaimers.

He was pick over a woman who risk her life to save hundreds of kids from the holocaust.

They should change the name of the Nobel Peace Prize to Nobel Political Correct Peace Prize.

It has gone down hill and to me is meaningless now.

My problem with him getting the award is that he's a hypocrite. He wants everyone else to change their lifestyle while he continues to leave a huge carbon footprint and thinks it's okay because he's rich enough to buy carbon credits. Global climate change is real; but we don't know the exact cause and it could be a cycle that will end in a couple of decades. Even if global warming is not caused by man; we still need to conserve our resources so that we won't run out, reduce the amount of trash we make because we are running out of spaces to put it, reduce emissions so we can have clean air to breathe, reduce contamination of water and conserve water, and stop overfishing the seas or we won't have any fish to eat by 2050.

I agree and although I'm not a big fan of the Bee Gees , I think they said it best. . . . . . .. . . ..

Tragedy
When the feeling's gone and you can't go on
It's tragedy
When the morning cries and you don't know why
It's hard to bear (note - 'bear'. . .I think they wanted to say manbearpig!)
With no-one to love you you're
goin' nowhere
Tragedy
When you lose control and you got no soul
It's tragedy
When the morning cries and you don't know why
It's hard to bear
With no-one beside you you're
goin' nowhere
When the feeling's gone and you can't go on
It's TRAGEDY !!

Email - email - Email .. . I've got some news for you .

EDIT ** - Nevermind cause I'm not gonna post it here . And what's the deal with you ? Don't you think there's PEOPLE on the other end of these avatars ?

Is this a question or a rant? I don't see an "actual" question anywhere. Here's one from me: Can I assume that you enjoy posting this kind of drivel because it helps you sleep better at night?

Oh, and just for the record, I am neither a liberal, nor a fan of Gore, but I have my own reasons. However, those reasons are ones that I care not to share... mainly, due to my distaste for those who feel that they have to engage in mindless groupthink because it helps to coddle their fragile egos.

On a final note:

Calling people names just makes you look like an immature child rather than a person who can actually engage interesting political discourse.

Nobel Peace Prize for what!?...overstating a naturally reoccurring atmospheric cycle for political and personal gain...a new category it would seem.

Can't say I'm surprised. After all, Nobel is full of left wingers and usually gives the award to other lefties.

Sageandscholar, their are thousands of climatologists, meteorologists and other scientists that are coming out and disagreeing with the man made global warming THEORY! There are tons of peer reviewed articles disagreeing with Gore and the other alarmists. We all know we are experiencing a warming trend, but it's natural.

That fat, pompous, slovenly dope just won't go away, spewing his fabricated facts about global warming. 80% of the scientists worldwide have said the facts are wrong and the predictions of doom are way out of line. The liberals all love him, so he just won't go away...the overweight slow-witted slob.
