I think it ended on Wednsday officially hun, but there sitll unoffical strikes all over the place.
In fairness they feel they are being abused by this Government (Mmmmm dont we all) and at least they are trying to do somthing....Plus anything that keeps the bills away from my door suits me just fine hun x

I got post yesterday.
In answer to your second question every worker has the right to withold their labour if negotiations with the employer break down.
If they decide to quit and look for another job there are a million Polish people willing to step in and work for minimum wage with no trade union in a privatised post office run purely for profit.
The postmen are fighting for a fair and ethical postoffice. I doubt they will win but they have to try.

Officially it ended at 3am on Wednesday but there are wildcat strikes in some areas of the country. And they are due to strike again next week.

It's not like they're any good at delivering post anyway. So many lost letters and cards. It was supposed to be finished yesterday, but there are still smaller strikes going on.

It will end when they get what they want, what would another job do for them hey, exactly the same if they aren't getting the pay and conditions they want, of course we rely on people like them but I think in the same respect they rely on peoples support too.

Completely agree with you. If people are that aggravated by their job then find another one instead of causing so much hassle to people that depend on their service.

Tell Government not to interfere in negotiations and this will be settled today, but until such time, postal service workers have the right to protect their jobs and their livelihood.
