communicate and ask a lot of questions (get a few opinions), step back from the problem or situation and step out of your shoes and into someone elses shoes and see things from their point of view, then see the point of view from the onlooker, then ask what other people would do...then step back into your shoes and write a list of what happened, why you did what you did, would you do it again and why, write the consequences good and bad, write a list of how things could be changed or fixed, list what you could have done differently, list what the challenges were, list what comments you received from the person or situations involved. Then walk away from the lists for a few days. Come back to the list with a clear mind, respecting other peoples ideas and decisions, and then determine the road you will take, the one that best suits you. If all else fails, read Dale Carnegie's book who describes it better than I. Remember that there are "fixes" for all concerned, which may or may not be the same fixes. You can agree, or you can agree to differ. Figure out what's right "for you". Depends on what it is; some things fix themselves over time. And, always remember that the word "maybe" IS a decision.

Sometimes some things are out of our control and cannot be fixed. Sometimes when things go wrong it takes teamwork, cooperation, and relying on others to help rectify the problem.

But one thing for certain, it's best to try to understand why things went wrong so that we avoid the same problem in the future. And by having an idea about the reasons why things went wrong, we can perhaps better understand the nature of the problem, which would then bring us closer to finding a solution.

There is book Peter's Principle in which there is a chapter .He asks why things always go wrong and does not answer because there is always reason to go things wrong and it is just an unsuccessful attempt to set them right.

Whether the cause was myself or someone else, then honest communication usually settles the problem.

When circumstances send things wrong, you just do the very best you can with the resources available to you.

JUST face it head on. FACE the music.
APOLOGISE, make things right.---I like this prayer that helps me fix things.

GOD grant me the serenity to except the things i can not change.
CHANGE the things i can.
AND the wisdom to know the difference.
THIS is how i fix it.

Get off your ass, take responsibility, have a positive attitude, a can do attitude and care enough for yourself and those around you to fix it and create a better situation.

If it needs to be fixed, I will. Otherwise I'll just escape from the scene and wait to be confronted.
