I would have to say that the bulk of my life has been fruitful and really happy. Sure, there are days that I'm down, and for a short period of my life, there were even months. But throughout it all I've figured out that if one maintains a positive attitude, positive things happen. I've met so many people who have nothing but a negative outlook on life. How can anyone acomplish anything like this? They don't even see the smallest successes in their life. That's so sad, for even tiny victories should be celebrated. They seem to think life owes them something; rather, they should be working and striving for those victories. They're not going to just fall on their lap; they have to be earned! That's why I say that taking a positive attitude will yield these positive results. And make life truly happy. Oh, and you asked my age; LOL. Let's just say that I'm ageless. OK? Keep those questions coming.

define "fruitful" and "really happy". If by fruitful you mean education and learning, then, life itself is an ongoing learning experience. If you mean education as in learning by sitting in a classroom then it's been 21 years or more, plus continuing law and professional short courses, seminars, corporate inhouse programs and correspondence updates. I believe that as life goes on each day is a form of happy as we are thankful to our maker that things are going smoothly and that we enjoy with happiness having our family around, our pets, our having a job and income, that we are thankful for having the things we do like a home, good food, shelter, clothing, take vacations, have the things we want and need generally. If you're asking about "really" happy then I suspect you may be asking about how many exciting times we've experienced in our lives like the birth of a child, winning a trophy, winning a medal in a speech class or for a project we did or created, getting married, graduating from some higher institution, buying a house or paying off the mortgage, getting some kind of recognition, making our first million. To me those euphoria times are occasions and can't be determined by "years"..

I was very lonely and depressed in high school and yet when I look back at those times, it was probably one of the times in my life when I was most active. I was never home and always going to a party, football game or something. Now as I have aged, I have stopped with doing things that make me happy. I am middle aged. In my 20's I was kind of like I was in high school too. Very active. I fell into a clinical depression and it derailed my lifestyle. A clinical depression called dysthymia which can last for years, in some cases for more than 20 years.

All the years of my life have been fruitful and happy. I can't complain. Considering all the suffering that's going on around the world I consider myself blessed.

I'm 21. I was a happy child but life started to look bleak as I get older.

But things are fruitful, if you're referring to investments and matters relating to the pocket. I seem to know where to put my money. But I can't say I'm happy inside.

I'm 26. I'm pretty sure the first part was grueling, the second part was about learning me, the third has been still a learning process. So hopefully the fourth will be consistent. Happiness comes in small, hard earned doses.
