Today is my 30th birthday and though the day before me and my friend and her bf went to a casino and lost and was not fun . Today is my birthday . My one friends and girlfriend want to go out to the bar and get drunk and the other want to run to every casino possible and gamble. By the sounds of it I am going to end up going bowling on my birthday , using a free 2 hr bowling coupon i had from awhile ago.
This is not suppose to be like this , I had big plans !! fun !! This is my one and only time i turning 30 and is a milstone and it seems like no family or friends are giving a party or doing anything . I am bummed out totally and it is almost 4am on my birthday . What should I do ?? I want to have fun and it I am upset cause it going to end up being boring , dull and quiet . I basiclly broke and the moment and my friends are not far behind ... as far as i know . Any ideas that will make my birthday rock ?

Happy birthday! You should arranged something before now, like gone to the one casino tonight with a crowd. Or have you a dog track near you? If you don't fancy that, have a chinese or indian. I don't see what all the fuss is about on zero birthdays, it has got completely out of control.
Start saving for your 40th, and go to New York, or somewhere you haven't been, better than splashing on one evening for everyone to get slaughterd!

Grab a snack and catch a flick on tv. Take a nice hot shower, and go to bed. Tomorrow's another day and next year's another year. If you are 30, it's time to realize that not every single birthday is going to be a party. And some years, most folks won't even know it's your birthday unless you tell them. Life just keeps on rockin' on.
If you want your day to be "special," take the initiative, and do something special. Otherwise, get over it and move on. You'll still be 30, tomorrow.

just do what you want to do. do something that lightens you up. invite people you're most comfortable with. go to your favorite place. dine at your favorite restaurant. it doesn't have to be extravagant. what matters most is that on your special day you feel special and happy.
