If you don't tell her the truth, it's ALWAYS gonna be in the back of your head what happened and how you lied about it, and it will eat at you for the rest of your time with her. I would never be able to lie about it and then look her in the face without guilt written all over me.

Stuff happens. As long as you were taking care of him the right way, there is nothing she can get mad at. Fish die for "no reason" whatsoever all the time, and this could have been one of those times.

You fail to mention if you took care of it the right way, but I'm going to assume you did.

Go ahead and tell her the truth, your conscience will thank you for it!! Take a deep breathe and tell her. She'll get over it, but you'll never get over the guilt of telling a lie.

Good luck!!! ;o)

uve got 3 choices:

1. tell her the truth

2. Go buy a fish exactly the same

3. get someone to delay her until like 9am(so pet stores open) and buy an exact like it

Just keep the fish in the bowl then when she gets home tell her what you did. Then tell her your really sorry if you have to ask if you can help in any way. Unless she is a psycho lady and will kill you for a fish. No just tell her she will understand its a fish they don't live that long. Just be nice about it
good luck

Fish die all the time. Tell her the truth.

If it was your fault they died, offer to pay for a new set. If it wasn't your fault, you might offer to help pay for a new set of fish anyway.

(-: And if she is really upset, the bright side is that you won't be asked to fish-sit anymore!
