HDMI is an all in 1 cable (Sound and Picture) ans is rather new, meaning youll need a pretty new TV to use it. The cable is not cheap usually strting at about $50 (2250 pesos) But it can also project at 1080i the best quality

So if you don't have a TV that can supposrt it don't blow your money on it

HD cables won't work on ur standard tv. Besides it will cost u a fortune there...I paid $70 US Dollars 4 mine...(Best Buys).
Ur tv set has 2 b HD ready in other 2 work.
