Yeah - the universe is big, so there's a pretty nice chance there might be other life-forms out there. And as for what they look like . . . I don't have that strong an imagination, or that good a grounding in Biology, to suppose what an "alien" race might look like, but peek into a zoology textbook and you'll get the idea.

Yes I do and I think some look like us and others look totally different from us. There is no way we are the only life form in the known Universe, but I really think we should look for other life-forms in our own back yard first, before looking elsewhere !

It is thought that life that may exist on other planets is likely to be simple life like bacteria or perhaps simple plant life. Its not that intelligent life can't exist on another planet independent of Earth it just that you need everything to be right for example the planet needs to be relatively safe from large asteroid impacts, sustain a stable temperature/atmosphere etc. Also good luck comes into it as well for instance the most intelligent beings on a planet may not necessarily be the most successful.

All of the smart money is on there being other life 'out there'. And lots of it.
As for what it looks like........ Dewd...... Have you ever really looked at some of the more bizzare life-forms on -this- Planet?
