Is it legal to let a 14 year old babysit from 4pm to 10pm everyday? I have a friend that is forced to do this an it's a little worrisome to be honest. She is baby sitting 3 relatives for no pay for the perivously mentioned time. Also please send me a source if it is illegal.

If you are in the US, it's not illegal. First of all, babysitting doesn't necessarily require that she be present the whole time, she can do other things while watching the kids. And if it's family members, then it's not considered employment. Unless the kids are giving her a lot of trouble, I don't see what you're worried about.

Wow 6 hours? Big deal.
It's called being part of a family.
It's a chore, babysitting, cleaning it's called helping out the people that buy your friend clothes, food and pay the bills.

Plus there is no labor in babysitting so tell your friend to cry me a river.

Btw it is perfectly legal.
