I had 3 c-sections! you just had major surgery! your body needs rest. your body is probably adjusting to all the new changes. Try a Epsom salt bath. you can purchase the Epsom salt from the health and beauty section of just about any store. dissolve 2 cups in warm water and soak for a while!! It is dreamy and feels so good on the tired stomach muscles. this worked wonders for me. good luck and happy mommy hood!!!!!! and if things don't change call your doc!

It means some of the nerve endings that were sliced during your c-section are repairing, it also means you may have an internal infection from being cut open.
You should call your doctor or obstetrician and describe your symptoms to them. They may advise you to go in to check for internal infection and prescibe some pain medication and antibiotics.
It's best to call your doctor and not rely on lay people like us on Yahoo answers.

4 weeks is still very early to not feel any pain. You have had muscles cut and they take time to heal. You really must still take it quite easy and make the most of your rest. Have a word with the nurses about it next time you see then they will advise you how long it will take to get over it.

Never had this issue, but it sounds like your period. Timing sounds right. Hope this helps. Oh- you can have sex, if you feel up to it. Take it slow and easy at first. If, it hurts, then stop. But, some women have sex a couple weeks after child birth and do fine. Its what ever you can tolerate. Good luck and congrats.

Do you have any extreme redness or extreme swelling, or oozing like pus or weird smell coming from your incision? If not then
It could be that your nerve endings are regenerating. Weird deep itching, hotness and even tingling and pain are signs of regeneration. If you are really concerned then go to your doctor.

Hormones. I call it the internal heat engine. It can be freezing outside, but you feel heat radiating from inside of you. Hang in there.

Congratulations on the birth of your little one.

God bless!

Go to the doctor, it could be an infection. Do it sooner than later, you wouldn't want to become septic. It could kill you!
