Yes. The approval (or disapproval) ratings of congress tells the entire story. They have dedicated themselves to "Bush-bashing" and done nothing in the way of effective/positive legislation. Also, their attacks on conservative talk radio also leans toward silencing free speech. They have been unproductive as representatives of the people.

Sure we should, and not welfare. It doesn't take much for the lobbyists of the president to get the Insurance Companies to come up with a plan that we can really afford. No rocket politician should attempt to rule the world my good man, and government doesn't need a hand in my pocket, I can manage my own pockets. How about you?

Taxes paid by citizens are the source of the salaries of the politicians who must serve the people with proper public service and nothing more.

the Dem's and republicans have been useless dead weight and self serving for the last 30 year and in some situations even longer than that
time for people to cast them aside
