Yes, I always insist that the person with a few items go ahead of me in line if I have lots of stuff that need to be rung up. I can't imagine having them wait in line behind me. I do the same at a non-grocery store, too.

no. i would only allow elderly women go ahead of me and possibly pregnant women.
my shopping spree's last for about 2 hour or a bit more. by the time I'm done i just want to get out of the store as soon as possible even if that means not letting a person go with only having 2 items.
just so you know i helped an elderly women by carrying her groceries home last night. I'm not mean but, like everyone else after 2 or more hours i loose patients.

Yes, of course I do. I tend to treat most people the same way I would want to be treated. Based on what I have seen, most people do the same, at least with letting someone ahead of you with only a few items.

yes of course. ALL THE TIME, i'd feel like a sh*t head if i didn't let them go ahead of me. but it gets me furious when people don't do the same for me. i mean, i'll give the 'cough' or do something to get their attention so they'll know that i have FIVE things max...and they have a cart full and they still don't give a crap. some people are just rude!

Yeah I try to unless they are in the middle of checking me out. Sometimes I get upset when the person in front of me wont let me go ahead and I only have one thing.

yep all the time cause i hate standing behind someone who has a cartful and i only have 1 or 2 things. treat others how u wish to be treated hehe

yes i do but when I'm in a rush, and only have a couple of thing, Most of the time the person ahead of won't offer me to go ahead of them lol

definitly, I meet to many people who feel like doing the nice thing would kill them. The other day I was obviously sick and this woman in front of me had two carts ( it was 3 at walmart and at that time they close all lanes except one) she looked at me and told me it was going to be awhile and laughed about it. When the boy at the checkout told her he was going to get me first ( I had some nightquil and a jug of orange juice) she freaked! Poor butter troll, she had to wait 1 more minute to eat her little debbies...
