I really don't like the Patriots. Billicheat and the whole spygate scandal, the Tuck rule, Rodney's hgh use, their arrogance, this would add more thing I don't like about them if it were true. That this team is owned by the same family/guy who runs the company responsible for deadly cigarettes.

"quit hattin on a good team just because they are better than yours"
Actually eclipz, I don't even think they're that good this year. And anything they do/have done is tainted by the tuck rule game, slimey Billicheat, Spygate, just look at how many NFL players and teams talk serious crap about them: LT, Eric Steinbach, Mangini, etc. You're just a biased fan that can't look that at the team objectively.

Kraft and Philip Morris used to be owned by the same parent corporation, Altria, but they split them into separate operations several years back when PM started getting such bad publicity. I dont know if Robert Kraft is related to the eponymous food company, but even if he was, the company was bought by Altria a while ago, and so he wouldnt have any connection himself to the tobacco brand.

I did hear about this and I think it is a very good move by the Patriots organization. I hold my breath every time I see the results of this annual competition because you never know what the fans are going to do with these kids. In 1998, the New York Jets had a playoff game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. All the kids were cheered except two who were booed (one had a Patriots jersey and the other had a Jaguars jersey). So what happened last weekend is more the norm than the exception. The Colts fans did not react to any of the other kids at all, positive or negative. Colts fans proved that they are no more classy than almost any other NFL team fan base. If they did not boo the kid, we would not be having this discussion today. As for the Patriots, you have to give them credit for doing this. This is a great experience for someone of that age and could leave a positive lasting impression. I do not think that this move undercuts the Colts undeserving in any way. The fans and the organization had their chance to do the right thing and it did not happen.
