Because sometimes you need a little relief from constant pain....and being numb helps you feel better because it takes away all feeling really...to an extent...and that gives you space to breathe....because too much sadness for too long can make you feel like you are drowning in grief and you cant get out, so your mind helps you by numbing your emotions when they start to overwhelm you.

it's doesn't really.....the numbness only lasts until it wears off...and that little sick feeling in ur stomach comes back with a little voice sayin' don't do this anymore....it's a lie....face fears head on.....it's the only way to be happy and content in ur soul

some times i like to put my arm in an awkward position so when i stiffen it it feels like i have an energy ball in my hands
