He does have feelings of course and just don't want the world to know, and for the first of it he will not be able to look at her without wondering why, but he should. My thing is why did she do it women just don't go around wrecking there marriages and destroying there children's home if there wasn't a need. So before you make him out to be the victim you have no idea what goes on behind the closed doors. Maybe he don't have it in the bed room, maybe he works to much comes home and demands dinner and watches to much TV, maybe he thinks that because he does all this for her he can control and abuse. YOU have no idea so my opinion is to ask why she was starving for some younger mans attention!

he can respond to it and treat her however he wants because that is what people do, but he needs to decide what results he wants. I am in no way blaming him for the affair or saying that he should kiss her butt, but he may want to be happy and they may both want to so they may want to sit down and lay some ground rules about how they treat each other. She tries not to cheat, he tries not to rub it in. They both try to heal. There was something wrong either in her before she ever met him or in the marriage, either way if it is not fixed it might happen again. What kind of background does she have, maybe (maybe not) she grew up in a place where it was normal. Tell him to her it is not normal, you love her and cant handle it happening again, to let you know if she can handle that and if not, leave or work on it, whatever.

the guy has every right to lose his feelings for his wife...he has been hurt and humiliated...he has been a good husband and a devoted father and yet the wife pays him back with betrayal...finding about the affair must have felt like a slap in the face...even a guy who isn't that great a husband has every right to fall out of love with his wife after she has been unfaithful...the more a man who has been nothing but good...

I'm sure he has feelings. He's probably not showing them to everyone.

I don't blame him if he does not treat her the same as before. Many times, when a spouse cheats, the other spouse will get nicer to them for fear of losing them for good. Others simply never forgive and the marriage ends.

Well she was the clean mother of his children. It is partly an ego thing with a man. But most of all a man thinks of his wife as pure and she is not any more. A man thinks of his wife as good. Yes he thinks he can do things wrong but she is his mother, his lover and his wife all wrapped up in one thing and now she took it all from him. When he looks at ther now she is not the woman that he thought she was.

Of course it will effect his feelings for her. I wouldn't expect him to feel the same way he did and of course he will treat her differently because his feelings have changed.
