I don't remember a lot of details. A woman is being stalked by a strange man. She thinks she is going crazy. At one point, he is above her on a flight of stairs singing,

"She died of a fever,
And no one could save her,
And that was the end of sweet Molly Malone.
Now her ghost wheels her barrow,
Through streets broad and narrow,
Crying, 'Cockles and mussels, alive, alive oh!'"

Thank you, but the film I'm thinking of is not "Premature Burial." The lead character is a woman. The film is in color, and the time frame is either late '60s or early '70s (probably early '70s). The most likely candidate I've ever found was the film "And No One Could Save Her" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0069714/), but there aren't enough details available to confirm this.

Please check "The Premature Burial"
www.imdb.com/title/tt0056368

Could you provide a time frame? Was the movie in color or black and white?... Any other detail will be hepful...

Edit:
Ah! Sorry, it was a long shot...
"And no one..." sounds like a good candidate, with that title and the Irish setting ;-) Does Lee Remick ring a bell?
