What do you think about the secret landing on mars in 1962?

Well, I hoped you could read the youtube comments.
It supposed that the spaceship used was not human technology in first place.

I don't think I believe it, but I tought you could give some better explanation to your doubts.
Then, if the spaceship was really alien tech, we can think:
1. Why still using normal radio comunications?
2. Why should the "astronouts" be in contact with someone on earth?
3. I think there still exist scientists saying the pictures from the moon are fake, so couldn't the sky on mars be blue, at least for a few hours a day or days a year?

Finnally, if the spaceship is not alien tech, then all of this is just a fake, of course!

There was no secret landing! It's a lot harder to land on Mars then the Moon largely because of the distance. Moon is less then 250,000 miles and Mars at is closest point is almost 40 million miles. Remember that the Moon orbits Earth so is never far away where Mars orbits the sun the same as Earth does but they travel around the sun at different speeds and its only once approx every 2 years that both planets are at there closest. Although it should be possible for a human landing it will push the cutting edge of even today's science to safely achieve.

If it was truly a landing on Mars, the communication would not be instantaneous as you hear on the vid. There was a several second lag in commo between the Earth and the Moon, and it would be MUCH longer between the Earth and Mars. A quick, back of the envelope calculation indicates that, at the speed of light, it takes about 4 - 4½ minutes for a signal to travel from Mars to the Earth, and that is when they are at their very closest approach.

And why was this kept a secret if it were real? And how was this done in 1962 seven years before Apollo 11 and one year after Yurij Gagarin flew? Work on this would have had to begin right after world war 2 and it would have cost many times more than the Manhattan project. And it would have had to involve more people than the 400000 that worked on the Apollo missions. How was this kept a secret again?
It´s total nonsense. It´s probably from some german tv show or omething.

Sorry I can't take that type of conspiracy theory seriously. It would mean a launch in 1960 or 1961 at that time the Titan that put 2 men up in the Gemini capsules were considered BIG rockets. Hard to hide the size of booster needed for a realistic mission to Mars.

Remember we could not even fake the moon landings until 1969. JFK would have loved beating the USSR to Mars. Like the person above me said, "Ah, yes, the all knowing youtube".
