Yes, but I want to move somewhere with more land, more in the country. So I can have my piece and quite.

It's OK. I live in a college town, rather close to the college, which makes sense, since I am a college guy. My place is a little run down, but the rent is pretty good ($350/mo). I have a driveway that is just gravel that looks as though it was laid 20 years ago. It is a hop and a skip from all my classes, so I don't mind the few problems that I have. Also, my land lady is among the nicest people that I have ever met.

It's beautiful where I live, but the town is so small. Only 8000 people and the nearest city of any size is 80 to 100 miles. Everyone knows everyone else, and so much gossip. If I could move I would, to another bigger city in Arkansas.

Yes and no.
It's got quite bad pollution, but it's only a regional town, about 80,000 people. The people are nice enough, but they tend to keep to themselves a lot. It's pretty safe to walk the streets though. I'd prefer to live somewhere else but I've been in worse places.

I didn't when I first moved here 13 years ago from CA to SC. It was like moving from another planet. But now, 13 years later....I've met a wonderful man, remarried, settled into his house with him, my son has graduated from high school and we have really put down roots in the community. This is the first place that really feels like HOME to me and like a place that I've made into MY HOME and I like that feeling. My husband and I go places and run into people we know, kids that know my son say hi to me and that's a good feeling. I've seen kids go from Kindergarten into college and that feels good to see them growing into young men and women and adults.

So, yes, I think I'm stuck here and happily so!!

Sort of. There are jealous and nosy neighbors. The younger guys(13-15yr) play basketball and football in the road. They don't like to move when the cars come by. But other than that, it's okay!!
