I've done this before for no reason at all, i went to the gyn, & he said a little is normal , if it was a lot my hormones would be off.
maybe she needs to get her hormones checked. It doesnt take long.

A litre? Don't talk utter crap... There's zero chance you drank that as breasts only produce what a baby needs, and there's not a chance in hell a baby is drinking a litre of milk at each feed. Even if you did, why the hell would it make you sick? Does it make a baby sick?? No. So don't be daft.

It could be due to varying hormones...estrogen/progesterone. These are the same types of hormones that fluctuate through pregnancy. Women usually don't start producing milk until a couple months into their pregnancy. If she hasn't had any other signs/symptoms of pregnancy, I would pretty much rule out pregnancy. You could be on the safe side though and go to the OB/GYN, you could check for pregnancy and find out why her hormones are not regular.

Be careful. A nipple discharge is often an early sign of breast cancer. However, it's probably more likely that she's pregnant.

If she's not pregnant yet she's lactating (not nipple discharge - different issue) have her doctor order a Prolactin level.
