I applaud you for using your money to buy the things that you like-the girls are jealous because they either don't have parents who will buy those kinds of things for them or they don't get enough money to do so. I think the best thing to do is to let the criticism and cattiness roll off your back. I mean I live in a town where half the girls seem to have a D&B, Coach, or other mid-tier designer bag and I could not afford those and my parents wouldn't buy them (plus they have leather which I am strictly opposed to).
Now that I have a job, I admit I do have some designer sunglasses-but they were ones I bought at the Nordstrom Rack for a fraction of the retail. Once the girls get a job or a way to make money, they will learn.

Purses. And I would say yes, Coach is considered a designer but a "middle-class" designer.

You worked hard for it so how could you be spoiled? Maybe if your classmates saved up their money like you do, they would be able to get these things too! It's great that you are saving up for the purses but maybe try buying more important things next time.

No. It's perfectly fine for you to buy designer goods. However, I'd advice that you don't wear obvious desginer goods like chanel necklace that has the double Cs on it like as an everyday thing. As you're in school, you're probably going to become a victim of jealousy when you wear things that are "flashy"...due to the fact that there are always people who can't buy them and you know....they just get bitchy.
Don't worry about it though, I'm like 17 and I all I have in my wardrobe are like Chanel...Marc Jacobs...etc...probably a few basics like white tees and vintage pants that aren't designer.

No, but I want to tell you that I think that you should save your money, because those purses are going to get old. Save your money, and buy things like laptops, and pay for college.

No. If you worked for the money, then you're obviously not spoiled. It's your decision as to how you spend the money you make. You earned it. If they choose not to believe you, then let them...that's their decision not to believe you.
