It's about time. The fine is way too low and I think that they should be able to pull over somebody just for appearing to smoke with the kids in the car.

A person drinking in a home with a child can avoid harming the child's health. A person smoking in the home with a child can' t stop the smoke from being breathed.

Yes, that's great. I'm a smoker but I would NEVER smoke around my kid. That's insane.

I don't think the ban will prove effective, but I do think parents should take care not to subject their kids to 2nd hand smoke, since they cannot choose whether to be around it when they are in the car.

Yes, I'm glad they are finally banning it, it's not fair to the kids because they probably can't help it if their parents decide to smoke in the car. And it's also unfair because they can develop health issues and second hand smoking is just as bad. I agree about the find being way too low though, if it's only up to $100, people aren't gonna care as much because if they are addicted, they will probably think that it's not that much money so it won't matter too much. : [

I think all the tobacco companies should stop producing tobacco and start growing cannabis. Then tax and regulate it like we already do for alcohol and tobacco.

Yes, i completely agree.
I am a smoker, but, I do not smoke in the car with my child, or in the house where he can smell it. Just because I want to ruin my own lungs doesn't give me the right to harm his. I think it is a fair ban.

Celebrating? No. That's just one more governmental intrusion in the "private" lives of individuals.

Think it's a wise idea not to smoke in the car with other people (not just kids)? Sure.

They should had done long ago. But really is not a big deal cause most kid still got their second hand smoke from the parent at home, plus who will find out about that? no one.

I smoke and I have a daughter.

I NEVER smoke around her or her friends when they are around.

I fully endorse the law.
