I'm a straight guy and I really enjoy watching GH and Days. Would you judge someone based on that or would you find it cool that one of your guy friends watches soaps?

i don't know why more guys don't watch soaps, there's a lot of hot women on them. some guys might think that's a pathetic reason to watch soaps but it's just as pathetic to watch baywatch for the exact same reason.

There are lots of guys that watch soaps, whether they admit it or not, and there's nothing wrong with it! As a matter of fact, from what I understand, a lot of firefighters who work the day shift are huge soap fans, because it gives them something to do between fires, or on slow work days.

I think it is cool. My husband watches GH with me all the time. He likes it a lot.

I've come across a few guys on message boards who watch soaps. It doesn't make a difference to me -- unless they drank the kool-aid with regards to certain characters that the writers are always propping.

My 29 year old son got hooked on Coronation Street when I couldn`t get home to watch it and I asked him to so that I wouldn`t miss anything. I think it`s great that I have someone to discuss it with. Why not? I watch all the Die Hard movies.

I think it's pretty cool. Watch what you like. There is a lot of male directed entertainment that many women enjoy without worrying what others think about their sexuality.

there is nothing wrong with watching soaps, but I doubt that you will find a guy friend to do this with, but maybe a girl friend (meaning a female friend, not you know)

i actually find it cool that guys can watch shows like that with all those emotions and stuff and be straight.i would love to be able to watch soaps with my guy friends

I thinks its awesome. My husband watches my soaps with me every night. In fact when we first started dating he would watch with me, and pay attention.
don't worry, if she doesn't like it you will find someone who does.
