It's a form of sociology because it causes people to come together, to all acknowledge the heroes of war.
It's unifying, and forming a group.
Like holidays, concerts...people together for the same purpose. I would say it's an "Interpersonal relationship", because the people are celebrating the same thing, but it doesn't necessarily mean they directly interact with each other, but they still form together. Interpersonal relationships does involve organizations, and relates to the comradeship/camaraderie and so I suppose that would also include citizens, since they are respecting they're fellow man, and heroes. So yups
I really hope that helped hehe

Veterans Day is about honoring those who have served in wars to keep our country free. It applies to sociology in quite a few ways one being the different stances on war. Look at the different wars this country has gone through since the 1900s. There have always been those who support wars and those who protest them such as during the many war protests in the 1960s. Veterans also make up a subset of society, the military.

Sociology is a system of shared beliefs within any society. Veteran's day pertains to it in this manner.

I am a Veteran. I served 4 years active duty in the United States Army because I was willing to lay my life on the line to protect the beliefs that make up our society's culture. One of my beliefs is that if you love something or believe in its future, you are ready, willing and able to defend it right up unto death. Because of what I believe, no one can tell you what religion to believe, what political party to support, what you can or cannot say and so on...
I stand up for what I believe in... right down to your very own individual freedom to pursue happiness.

I hope I helped you

Good luck
