I am not sure if you mean a Common Snapping Turtle, or something more exotic, but I'll assume the Snapper. (Generally, one should not use abbreviations unless they are well known.)

Soft shell means a dietary or care issue. Not eating usually means cold or dirty water.

You need to review your overall cares. Try http://www.chelydra.com or http://www.austinsturtlepage.com for help.

If this does not help, try the forums at http://www.turtleforum.com and see if any of the experienced keepers there can help.

If the shell is getting soft, you need to provide UV lighting (repti-sun, vita lite, or similar brand) and feed it more minnows, as the bones contain calcium.
Keep it warm to stimulate the appetite.
