Can a non-blonde claim a "blonde moment"?

My friend has black hair, yet whenever she forgets something or makes a mistake she says "I had a blonde moment"... I get so irritated! Is it "fair" for anyone but a blonde to call their 'moment' a "blonde moment"

It's a statement which is based upon a ridiculous illogical stereotype, and I would be very offended if someone said that around me.

Is that anything like a Man using His "Female side" or "thinking like a Woman" as an excuse for doing something stupid?.... Is Your friend as dumb as She sounds?
