He's from Texas.
If Clinton said them, they would be Clintonisms not Bushisms.
Honestly I think that he just trips over his tongue, he's not stupid, he just is not a great speaker. Lets put any of you that knock him in front of a mic as often and see how you fare.

The honest truth is he is not a great orator. It tends to happen when he goes off script. This is not a bash at him, it is just a reality. For a man who has two or three public events a day, you would figures winging it is not the greatest idea.

10's of thousands? Talk about an exaggeration.
Anyways what matters is the fact that he stands his ground and sticks to what he believes him. He isn't a good public speaker and he would be the first to admit it, so making mistakes like that every now and then are expected when one is under that kind of pressure. And a lot of you people have no idea what kind of pressure he is under.
Clinton had his own problems, and so will the next president because people aren't perfect. But I support Bush, and Im glad hes our president and not the people on here that make stupid ignorant comments when they couldn't handle more than a week in his shoes.

Oh, every time our poor president speaks I simply shudder.
He does fine with the pre-prepared speeches, but then when he actually has to answer questions from the press (us), he seems to dissolve into a gelatinous goo of "ums" and "uhhs" and other rather embarrassing displays of micro-intelligence.
Sigh.
It's almost over.
