While I suspect it may be true that you are a troll:

If your new wife is willing to pay the child support (which if she had a brain she would not finance your problems and have you sign a pre nup), nothing should change. Just keep paying the support in a timely manner.

However, It may be state dependent, but it is my experience that if you purposely quit and try to reduce your support, it will not be reduced as you did not leave employment in good faith. You will be required to keep a job diary (if your case is in Illinois anyway), and if you don't apply to enough jobs in the diary, you can be found in contempt. If the mother is happy with the status quo and you keep paying, it should not be a problem.

Again, this is probably state specific, but in Illinois, only your income is looked at for determining child support (and I am pretty sure this is the case for Minnesota as well). The court cannot garnish your wife's paycheck. However, joint funds would be eligible for garnishment and your wife would have to contest the garnishment of said funds by proving that they are hers and not yours.

Also, you sound like someone that is prone to getting divorced, so quitting your job is a bad idea if you end up divorcing your sugar momma, because then you won't have the money to pay support and the mother of your child(ren) will be bringing you to court if that happens. Bad idea to rely on someone else to pay your debt.

Hey tony,

Be careful man. if your babymama finds out where the money is coming from and goes blabbing, its possible that the family support office can attach your wife's income and yours together, and then order YOUR WIFE'S income garnished. YES, MOFO (wink)! if you are paying $1000, it will INCREASE if the new wife is making more money than you did at your last job.

Everyone here is hatin on you for having a wife with some extra money lying around for you to spend. Bob Marley had a song lyric

"If every day, de bucket a-go a well/
One day, de bottom haffa drop out"

Don't let your wife's respect for you run out. She will start to wonder if she could be the next babymama. And by all means, don't let your child's respect run out, if nothing else. This from a hardworking dad. Wish you the best.

It doesn't matter HOW you pay it, as long as it gets paid.

On the other hand, if you're not working for WHATEVER reason, you can appeal to have your support amount lowered. You're still going to have to pay support as though you were making minimum wage, even if you aren't.

And the fact that a rich old lady is providing your care is not pertinent to the amount you must pay unless your ex's attorney can prove (through a process called Discovery) that you are receiving an allowance from said rich old bat, I mean, lady.

You can sit your lazy azz on the couch and shove your lazy thumb up your nose as long as you pay the $100.

If you lost your job due to injury or industry set back you could have CS reduced. But just being lazy and stupid won't help you. I guess it goes without saying that you are selfish and a leech.

Have a nice day. It's always nice to hear from the wading end of the gene pool.

typical deadbeat dad...
shoulda just lied to the court in the first place like my ex, and you might not have had to pay support, and you wouldn't be asking these low life questions on Yahoo!!
Oh yeah, while in the bahamas, keep your d_ck in your pants and you won't have any more children to try to get out of supporting in the future.

If you pay the court ordered amount, no one cares if you are working or not.

And, no "Father of the Year", you can't cheat YOUR KIDS out of their support by not working.
