Join a club... acting, singing, whatever you like. Or you can always chat with me. :-)

Here are a few ideas! Join a sporting club, vollunteer work, trivia nights at clubs, if you're a mother, join a mothers club (assuming they have them where you are) Or maybe reach out to a friend you work with and ask if they'd like a night on the town- a girls night out. (or in)
Also, online you can get into some gaming sites, they're plenty of fun when you have a few hours to spare.
Having failed that, maybe go back to school, persue your dream job and you'll be sure to meet plenty of people there too!.
Good luck!

-listen to my ipod
-surf the net
-find sensible & intelligent questions to answer here at yahoo answers(something that will challenge the way i think)
-keep myself busy
-if all of the above won't work at all,i take a walk.it need not be anywhere special or somewhere that ill spend money to,just walk, enjoy the surrounding, maybe breathe in some fresh air, wander around & observe people & if given the chance start a friendly conversation with some of them.
you can shake the blues away even when not socializing if you'll just teach yourself how & find ways of doing & enjoying it.hope this helps!

tell friendly looking strangers you feel this way. the worst thing they can do is say they dont wanna know you, which is unlikely, whoever would say that? its more likely to sparc some form of relationship.
approaching people is ur choice. easiest people to approach are newbies, of whatever scenario it is, then you can relate in someway.
or you could simply start a convo with a compliment, and probably get a questioning look or simply a 'thanks' then introduce urself. making friends like this sounds unconventional, but in the end so long as u put urself out there in some way it soon happens, and if ur social then ul have an idea of how and what to say to whoever it is you approach.
helped me anyway =]

I'll put on some good "uplifting" music I can sing along to. That usually fills my time & also gets me in a good mood. I have some good "Gaither" gospel music that really helps me feel lots better until something comes along that I can do. I also like to cook/bake, & w/also get into that when things get dull & boreing. I'm not much of a TV watcher. But usually can find something to get into. I can always find some "dust" around that culd. use spiffing up...lol

what do you like to do? i would start a hobby of some sort.
also if you have a pet, start spending time with it. go for a walk with it. a pet can be very loyal and something great to have around when your lonely. if you don't have a pet, consider getting one! what about spending time with family? or maybe meet some new friends? good luck!!!

I think prayer is good. I also find a lot of comfort in reading scripture. I like the previous answer of volunteer work too.

Try spending your extra time volunteering. You will meet new people and it will be good for your resume too.
