well my art college theres this internship thing coming from Pixers and nicklodean....means that they are giving out internships this summer and there would be a meeting that theyd give you the requirements for it next week....however it is for animation major...I am a graphic design major...do you think i qualify and should i go to the meeting???

i would go ahead and go to the meeting, get the info and if you dont think you'd be eligible, dont worry about it....sounds like a great opportunity :)

It NEVER hurts to explore a potential job opportunity, especially if you feel that the experience would be useful to advance your career. Don't worry that the jobs may involve some specific skills that you don't have. Tell them who you are and why they should hire you and let them be the ones to tell you if you don't qualify. And do make it a point that you are always looking to acquire new skills and that you view that job as a great opportunity to do that. Who knows? Good luck!
