No, pork and beans are not made from soy beans.
Pork and beans are made from navy beans. The little bit of pork in the beans will not do much harm. All beans are considered a protein substitute.

pork n beans is made, especially if you are talking the commercial variety, using small white beans and pork fat. Not that great [pork fat] for cholesterol reduction. You can make your own beans [try looking for Boston Baked Beans recipe] using soybeans. There are many ways to reduce cholesterol - including fiber and nutritional supplements.
Why not try the site below...very reliable.

BlueEyes, why don't you take a course on diet and nutrition because it's pretty clear that you need some education on this subject.
To lower your cholesterol what you need is to eat "real" foods, meaning fresh fruits and vegetables, reduce animal fats, sugar, caffeinne and all processed foods.
Greatly reduce sodium, which is excessive in all processed foods. Get rid of the salt shaker on the table.
Then reduce stress.
Remember that sugar, when eaten turns to fat causing all the same problems for the body that animal fat causes.
Oh, for healthy oils you can use Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Coconut oil for cooking.

I don't think anything with pork in the name is going to be good for your cholesterol and their usually made with navy beans or Yankee beans. This site has a diet plan and a healthy eating guide.
