Both. But with those I am formally acquainted. Within my informal circle I like to break free from shackles of mannerism and feel too much politeness takes the warmth away. I am naturally respectful with everyone...So...

Hi,
Nothing needing mending when it comes to my manners; I'm always mindful of what I do and say when with others and I'd never deliberately hurt or upset anyone. Politeness is my middle name.

I do both. Manners are like polish on tarnished silver; sometimes, you can rub and rub and still miss some of the polish so that overall it shines but suddenly you inspect more closely and find a dull spot or something that needs more wiping.

It's matter to me and expecting the general public.Why? Manners are the reflection of your personality and character, it signify your total being as a person.Your always in the midst of people whether in public places or in gathering.It's also a reflection of how you've been raise up and level of your education.

I mind them and if I do it all wrong I amend them or start all over again.
Usually I screw up bad and then they can't be mended, though.

minding my manners is one of the top concerns in my moral beliefs which i put above all things, i don't mind them ALL the time, but most of the time... yes, i do.
