y=mx+b
m=7
y=3 when x=1
3=7*1+b
b=3-7
b=-4
y=7x-4

linear fn is f(x) = mx + b

m = 7 f(1) = 3

3 = 7 + b
b = -4

f(x) = 7x - 4
