I too feel that making the payment to the players based on their performance will be good for indian cricket as each and every player will have to really work hard to earn

It may work in India because all your batsmen always get to go out to bat - no matter who they are playing!

It wouldn't work with the Australian side because most games, their number 5, 6, 7 etc batsmen don't get to have a bat - because the opposing team can't get the top batsmen out!

Look at the last ODI between India & Oz - only three Oz batsmen got to the crease.

May not be a bad idea but it really doesn't work that way.This might result in individualistic approach at the cost of team.
