As many as you want especially if you think you have a good hand and can win it! If you are playing for real money keep in mind what the other person may have. If you think their isn't a very good chance of them beating you raise it, plus they may just end up folding!!

Good Luck!!

That all depends on the cards you have, your position at the table, and the players in the game. I have had time where i have folded for hours and did not even play a single hand. And i have had times where i have raised 5 hands in a row, so it all depends, your hands will just play themselves for the most-part. So there are no set limits to how many times you should bet per round. Now the real question you need to ask is how much should i be betting into the pot each round. And the answer here also depends on the flop, as well as how many players are in the pot. Now i like to raise 3-4 times the blinds in any pot that i open, and if i flop good hands, but not great hands i like to bet 3/4 of the pot, and if i flop the nuts, i like to bet out 1/2 the pot, or slow play and check. I think thats one of the worst errors that players make is that they either over bet or under bet the pot, and to offten give good odds to other peoples hands.

Super system is the main book to read, most players call it the poker bible, so it is a must read. Now other books like Dan Harrington's 3 part series are very good as well, but are written for more advanced players. The first poker book i ever read was called winning low limit hold em by Ken Warren. This book was a very easy book to follow and gives you everything you need to know about basic card strategy. I also find Mike Caros book very good reads as well.

The answer depends entirely on the situation. It depends on where you're playing, along with the cards you're holding. If you're holding the absolute "nuts", it's unlikely that you will get to raise more than one time, but if you do have the chance to reraise, keep in mind that most legitimate limit games have a three raise "cap". It's never a bad idea to ask the dealer if there is a cap in any game, as you might eventually need to know this.

What a dumb question.
It's like asking..
I'm playing online poker right now!
The other player raised, what should I do?
(without telling your hand..)
