I'm looking for the classic mystery/stalking music cue that was used in many classic cartoons. I hear it in my head played on a marimba or a xylophone. Here's my best approximation:

bum...Bum...BUm...BUM...BUUUMMMM (with trill) BUM-BUm-Bum-bum-bum
