I've noticed that also

That is ABSOLUTELY untrue.
In fact... if those idiots in Congress you call Liberals are HIGHLY EDUCATED then close the schools because there's something wrong with them.

The Democratic Liberal Leadership right now is the Insane Clown Posse!
I mean, LOOK at who you're talking about!
Howard Dean? That guy openly admitted to treason!
Nancy Pelosi? She lied to a foreign leader about a message from another foreign leader on a trip she had no right to take... apparently she doesn't KNOW her job, so she can't be TOO educated!
Harry Reid? That guy turns his head too fast he hears the ocean! Come on!
Hillary Clinton? She's dumb enough to believe that Americans want to be SOCIALIST! She also believes we think she can run the country when she couldn't even see her husband was diddling with interns!

Oh, and let's not forget:
Rosie O'Donnell ~ Delusional Ditz extraordinaire
Alec Baldwin ~ when he's not calling his daughter horrific names, he's failing miserably at spewing liberal rhetoric on the radio (just like all the other liberal hosts)
Whoopi Goldberg ~ where's HER doctorate from?
Leonardo DiCaprio ~ who thinks he's relevant again. That ship has sunk.

If you're 20 and you're not a Liberal, you have no heart.
If you're 40 and you're not conservative, you have no BRAIN

Let's accept this absurd and unsubstantiated claim alone and assume the premise in order to provide some reason that intelligent people would choose to forego an "education".

The people who are more educated have chosen to make a career out of education. Those who are burning to do something productive often leave academia for the commerical world much earlier leaving the impression that they do not value an education.

My experience is that they do value LEARNING but not an academic career. This is not the same as being uneducated. Think about the professors that you have known and consider their ability to function in the real world. Most of them are ideally suited to work in academia but would have trouble tying their shoes on a regular basis (see Einstein's life for corroboration).

Those leaving the academic world after they receive the necessary training turn their backs on the sterile realm of thoughts and theories and move into the world of application. They would rather work with real people than in just the rarified air of the ivory tower.

I think you need to be very careful with the measurement of "education" and its presumed corollation with "intelligence". One can make a very strong argument the "education" as measured by degree attained, etc. is more closely linked to an inability or unwillingness to work in the real world than any inate difference in intelligence.

Maybe that is why liberals espouse unworkable, complex governmental programs rather than relying on the people themselves to work to a solution for our problems.

Well thats not actually true.

People with some college tend to vote Republican.

College graduates trend to vote Republican.

Those with advanced degrees tend to vote Democratic.

Ive never seen a break down of the voting patterns depending on level of graduate degree.

But i'll assume, those with PHD's are more likely to vote Democratic far more so, than those with masters degree's.

There is also a reverse trend also, the lower the education level, the more likely voters are to vote Democratic.

I base my numbers on post election surveys after the 2000 and 2004 presidential elections.

Our college system environment is by far more liberal then the real world.

Think about it :

most do not work or, only work p/t

most collect government funding

most engage in sexual and drug experimentation

most have too much time on their hands

most do not have a realistic view of society

most cannot function amid broad rules and regulations

most cannot keep up as well in the workplace as those who skipped college and joined the workforce at a younger age - they're soft

most have spent hours upon hours being forced to listen to some middle aged prof who still leaves with his mother, tell them how pedophilia is a lifestyle and NAMBLA a legitimate organization

i wonder where all these people lynching college professors as liberal extremists received their educations? yes alot of my professors have been liberals, which i guess lends some credit to the askers question.

I had a extreme right wing prof b4 and it was offensive to sit in his philosophy class as he repeatedly referred to all Muslims as terrorists after 9/11! not to mention his second shooter theories, in fact the guy was a nut, but then most far right conservatives are a little kooky, ive noticed!

I believe that liberals see the world from many points of view, and often because they have professors that have opened their eyes to the many differences in our US. They do not just blindly follow their views given to them by churches or religious leaders.which TELL them what to believe instead of studying the many other issues,

Your implication that liberals are so much smarter than everyone just isn't true. In fact, liberals are among the dumbest people alive. Witness the far left blogs.

Not nessarily so, of course if they are educated in a US college its likely that in 4 years they get indoctrinated by their profs. The majority who don't go to these cloud cuckoo lands are educated in common sense. To make a statement like that shows a misconception in your thinking.

It takes logic thinking and kind hearted attitude toward fellow human beings.

On the other hands, contards are mostly selfish low class labors, high school drop outs, never doing well in schools, and they resents everything.

Plus, they inherited the blind faith and grow up to be a bunch of double standard shameless fools, that further clouded their minds.

That's why, GWB and all contards are in the same mental level and they see things similarly: like stay in Iraq forever, make sure to get their oil, and attack Iran

The list can grow, but, it is just so off

Educated people are better informed and have a higher regard for objective reality. They're less inclined to buy into nationalistic propaganda and more inclined to weigh all the alternatives.

Liberals are usually slow to draw conclusions about people, events or philosophies. They don't normally settle for easy answers just because they're convenient.

Educated people learn that life is a good deal more complex, and a great deal less black and white, than our conservative friends would like us all to believe it is.
