says that the National Enquirer published a story regarding
a possible extramarital affair .According to the tabloid story ,
John Edwards had an affair with a woman who worked on
his campaign .John Edwards said that the story is unfounded .

How are the National Enquirer and Sen. Clinton related? Did the newspaper claim to get the story from her or her staffers? Everything negative you see or read about the other candidates does not come from Sen. Clinton. If she was digging up dirt and starting stories to the extent every suggests she is she wouldn't have time to brush her fricking hair much less campaign.

The Clinton campaign doesn't need to smear anybody--but the Republicans do, and the Enquirer will print anything to make money. I thought everyone knew that.

Well, it would be irresponsible to blame the Clinton camp for this smear without evidence... though it IS their M.O. and I'd be watching for clues that she did it if I were Edwards.
It's irrelevant, though. Edwards has no chance at all in the Primary.
