headphones? before the MP3 players came out and would rock out in your room.? most of you growing up in the 60s & 70's will i'm sure...

of course we didn't have the wireless ones, which is what i'm wearing now because my son is asleep. these things are still pretty cool and more advanced

I tried to block it out!!
My sister and I each had a pair and we would sit in the back of my parents old Buick when we would be visiting family. Of course we would be singing like we were the greatest, I'd be singing some lame stuff( Bonnie Tyler and other strangeness) and my sister would be listening to Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. I think my parents regretted buying those; especially because we couldn't hear how horrible we sounded.
Dying cats probably sounded better.

Yes, I do. I can remember being like 7, 8 years old and listening to my dad's "Bat Out Of Hell" album with the headphones on. They were waaaayyyy too big for my head but I felt like the coolest kid on the planet.

haha, I'm only 21 and I still wear kinda medium-big headphones, those little buds that people put inside their ears now are seriously painful!
