It's all in the wiring. I resist the simple temptation to think of democrats as evil, rather I think their intentions are good, but naive.
They want to even out inequity by taking from those who have and redistributing to those who have not.
But once they have a better capacity for understanding, they will realize that, while this may provide temporary relief, it will do more harm than good in the long run.
It can only lead to an endless cycle of dependency.
The sustainable solution is to not take away from but allow those who are driven to invest. create jobs and provide a sustainable livelihood to all who they employ.

Let me just ask you this--Who are the primary ones trying to take God out of the Pledge, out of government buildings (such as Courthouses), out of flag pins, on and on?
Make no mistake about it, we are living in perilous times when Christians around the world are being persecuted and murdered out of spite just for who we are, and NOT for what we do!!!!
Every Nation that turns its back on Almighty God will be turned into Hell--the bible says.
Why do Democrats want God taken out of America??? After all that God has blessed us with, one can only presume that Democrats have been given up to the evil one--but mostly on the far-left.

Actually all the positions you describe are just simplistic generalizations that do not reflect the reality of existence. Life is much more complicated than that.
The same goes for most of these answers........

Here's one...
The Republicans are trying to clean up the mess they made in Iraq.
The Democrats, who also voted to invade, are trying to run away and hide it, hoping that other countries will deal with the crap.
Now, this whole 'evil' and 'good' thing really goes on a case by case basis. I tend to go back on forth as one changes issues.
But also know that they're relative.
The Reps aren't 'good' concerning Iraq, they're just marginally better.

I think you understand your initial equation.
It's just that you keep making the mistake of changing it.
