1. Not everyone watched "Super Size Me".
2. Eating fast food once in a while is a far cry from eating it exclusively every meal, like the idiot on Super Size Me.
3. People have known long before Super Size Me was released that most fast food is not healthy.
4. People continue to smoke years after the dangers of smoking were widely published. People continue to drink and drive, knowing that's illegal and very dangerous. Why would eating fast food be different?

First off, Supersize me is a ridiculously extreme exaggeration that actually taught absolutely nothing about what eating at fast food restaurants will do to you, unless it's all you eat, which in most cases, it's not.
Second, People are busy. It's a lot easier to run by a fast food restaurant on the way home from work than it is to stay up late and cook something, then have to do dishes...
Third, Our economy is set up to where the poor people really don't have all that much of a choice. Junk food like hot dogs and chips or fast food restaurants are so much cheaper than healthy meals like grilled chicken or someplace nicer to eat. Just because some people can afford to eat healthy doesn't mean everyone can.

You cannot eat fast food for every meal everyday for a month, not exercise and not expect to lose weight. I have worked at Mc Donald's for a year now and I have actually lost 10 pounds. I LOVE the fries, but I only allow myself one small fry per week, and most of the time I get the salads with the grilled chicken. Anything in moderation (Accept drugs) is OK.

There's a difference between a once-in-a-while indulgence (and, let's be honest, I know that Big Mac special sauce is crappy and will ruin my heart, but it's gooooooood), and eating it for all three meals for 30 days. I would never do that. If anyone is doing it, they just aren't that sharp or they are suicidal and too lazy to get it out of the way all at once.

because the idiot in that movie ate NOTHING but fast food 24 hrs a day 7 days a week. the normal person doesnt do that. if you eat at mc'ds once in a while it wont kill you because more often than not its being offset by real food. the health risks are much lower when you dont eat it constantly.

It is because people are not going to stop doing anything unless it has immediate consequences. They don't care about the damage done in the long run, for them it's all about the "right now". Also, the issue hasn't been hyped up as much as the effects of smoking, for example.

What do people eat? well that depends on your personal taste! Might I recomend the McChicken?

Don't believe everything you see. Fast food is ok to eat occasionally. How can you resist Del Taco or Carls Jr.?
