If you are asking about Forrest & Jenny's tree (the one in his yard that he buried Jenny under), I believe it is in Bayou La Batre, Alabama. It was a commercial fishing port until Katrina hit. I don't know if it has bounced back from this storm as yet, or not. Hope this helps. Jeannie H
*****Sorry!!! I was wrong. That oak tree is actually located at the entrance to the Carolina Shores Subdivision near the end of Carolina Avenue in Beaufort, South Carolina. To get there you have to take Bruce K. Smalls Drive, which intersects with US 21 just shy of the Beaufort Marine Corps Air Station.*****

Big Fish all the way. Forrest Gump is not bad due to the performance of tom hanks and nothing else... The 90's had some great films, the films grew out the cheesy of the 80's (blockbuster-wise) and had some original plots as well. New themes opened up, the actors that did most of the films back in the day were some remarkable actors of the golden age. Not a fan of Roat to perdition I hate new versions of timeless classics.

Where is the big tree in the film 'Forrest Gump' located?
