Here in WV we like chili, slaw, and onions, and a lot of us like ketchup and mustard, too.

There's a hotdog stand in Sydney called Harry's Cafe de Wheels..has alot of celebs coming to it as well. The hot dogs are really stuffed with heaps of stuff - chilli, mash potato and peas, gravy, mustard, cheese, onions, ketchup

Well, I'm from So. Cal. and of course I love chilidogs with cheese and onions. (I have been introduced to the WV chili/slaw dog and have to admit it's darn good).

I guess it's whatever the individual wants. I myself mix mustard and ketchup and occasionally have sweet relish. At picnics, I've seen most people stick with simple condiments~no sauerkraut, chili, etc.
Maybe it's because we have a lot of Scots and Irish in the population. Hotdogs and brats aren't traditional fare, so we approach them differently.

Out here in MN people like a lot of different things on hot dogs. me, i just like ketchup. people here though will eat it with ketchup, mustard, onions, chili, relish and sometimes horseradish ( yuck). Now, they don't put all these things on at ONCE, these are just the things they like like to put on.

chili n onions, or mustard n relish with those thin green peppers. im one of those who thinks dogs should never be combined with ketchup.

I like ketchup, mustard, and relish. (I'm in Idaho.) Fast food places here serve 'coney dogs,' which are hot dogs with chili and diced onions on them. Also coney cheese dogs, which is a coney dog with melted cheese drizzled over it.
