The Fountain of Youth is a legendary spring that reputedly restores the youth of anyone who drinks of its waters. Florida is said to be its location, and stories of the fountain are some of the most persistent stories associated with the state.
The city of St. Augustine, Florida is home to the Fountain of Youth National Archaeological Park, created as a tribute to the city's illustrious history at the spot where Ponce de León is traditionally said to have landed.

"Aqua Vitae" is one. Another would be "Quintessence". I came across an old alchemetical text called "The Book of Quintessence" that claimed that the "quintessence" made by its instructions would restore vigor. Since I'm a biologist, I immediately recognized that its "quintessence" amounted to 95% ethanol. So, regular dosing with high-octane hooch would certainly give the feeling of vigor.
Some quotes (from a translation to modern English):
"Know well that it is called burning water, but it is not burning water, for it is not moist nor cold like common water."
"Also, it has three names from the philosophers. That is to say: Burning water, the soul in the spirit of wine, and water of life, but if you wish to conceal it then call it "quintessence", for this name, and the accompanying nature, would be told by very few philosophers."
"If a piece of meat, fish, or dead bird is put into [quintessence] it will not corrupt nor rot while it is therein."
Like I said, alcohol.
