That's because these boards are mostly frequented by young people and they are largely unfamiliar with those songs. It's just like me with rap music. I'm pretty clueless about it but both my daughters are quite knowledgable about it even though they are not fans. However, I can answer a lot of questions about older music, especially music from the 1960s and 1970s.

I started listening to Sabbath in 72'. Been rockin ever since.
I'm 49 now. Lived through most the fazes, and can't think of
10 bands that came out between 75' and 85' that I would still
listen to regularly. Spend three days at Bonnaroo and call
newer bands crappy.Whats s>=ks is clear channel radio.
You on the web, open your mind and find some of the great
new music out there. Go buy the 'White Stripes' DVD live.
You'll never worry about old crap anymore!

That's true i think it is better the oldies music than what we have today. I have not used to hear 80's songs (even i was born in the 80's decade) but my bf loves this music, so thank to him i like it too lol.

new pop music is horrible and most new rock music is horrible. it's just regurgitated lyrics spewed over and over again. same sentiments, almost exact same lyrics, slightly different tune, and capitalism takes place. screw new music.
