I have a stuffed animal that is approx 20 years old. I've taken pictures of him all over the world.
I thought it'd be fun to give him a Facebook account. It was just his profile, about 70 friends, and some cute pictures of him at famous destinations.
But Facebook managers have deleted his profile! Those bastards!
Can I sue them? Anyone good with the fine print in their terms of use?
Because my stuffed animal is over 18, didn't post any bad material, and no where did it say you have to be human.

In either case, good luck. I just hope you read the "terms and conditions" first before you attempt to sue the company.

Anyone can file a suit against anyone for any reason, as long as you can find a lawyer to handle the case. Actually, you don't really have to have a lawyer, but someone who knows the law would have a better chance of filing. Of course, that doesn't mean you would win the suit. You would have to prove that your were somehow injured by the deletion. That's assuming the judge doesn't throw the case out of court without a trial. Just what our legal system needs - another frivolous law suit.

No, they have the legal right to remove any profile that they may deem suspicious. I don't think you would have enough of a case, as it couldn't have hurt your stuffed animals feelings, and there's not really any grounds for your case. Hint: Don't try to sue large companies over trivial things- their lawyers are alot better paid than yours.

Those *******! I wouldn't sue them, I would write them a nasty e-mail though. What a punch of punks.
But that is kinda weird, stuffed animal having a facebook, lol. I mean it might make someone depressed, what if they find its profile and it has more friends than they do......a stuffed animal, I think they would kill themselves.

Here's the catch: your stuffed animal probably doesn't have his own e-mail address.
(I'm honestly surprised, because I totally know Facebook profiles of cats and even one imaginary cartoon character. I didn't think Facebook cared so much about that kind of thing.)

No you can't sue them, grow up!
And by the way, if you read the policy it says you can't "register for more than one User account, register for a User account on behalf of an individual other than yourself, or register for a User account on behalf of any group or entity"

Technically its "their " site , just like Yahoo Inc. they can reserve their own rights for deleting anything they want. If you have a complaint , just write them a letter and wait for them to respond .

Oh yeah! It's your stuffed animal. They can't just kick him off like that! They have that website so you can make friends and stuff. Not to kick people off!
