this is on my assignment and i cant figure it out, no websites give me a clear answer

eco is right. The guy that said it uses "feet" or something along those lines needs to pull out his notes and double-check. You've got paramecium confused with the pseudopods of amoeba.

Paramecium use foot like projections. They just engulf the food.

A paramecium sweeps food (bacteria and other food particles) into an oral groove by the action of its many cilia. From the oral groove, the food goes through a mouth and is placed into a food vacuole.

phagocytosis. it's wall goes next to the food particle, then grows around it, engulfing it, then digests it.
