I bet this question will stump many people. Can anyone slip me an answer? As I live in Australia, I don't want to be caught out not knowing. My apparent ignorance might bowl a maiden over.

The wicket keeper stands behind the wickets and remove the bails off the wickets. Finding the batman out of his ground
He is out stumped
The next batman is caught with a nick to slips
The following batman is clean bowled
Maiden is when the bowler bowls 6 balls without any runners.
And we have a hat trick

IT WICKET KEEPER the player of the opposite team that guards the batsman's shots and looks for possible openings to strike him out by hitting the oncoming ball on the wickets while the batsman tries to make a move to the opposite side..

Not only do they have a very wicked keeper they have a silly mid on, as well as a bloke who must have a square leg. Still a great game mate.
