Ann Coulter seems to have some very extreme points of view, and I think that many thoughts she shares in interviews do not make sense or are not based on good information. Does she really truthfully represent the way people see the world, the motivations for behaviors and beliefs, and does she represent American politics in a way that is factual and productive? Are her views too extreme, or are they mainstream? I saw an interview with Coulter a few days ago, and I have been wondering what others think of what she says.

I believe she is a hate spewing, bigoted, waste of my time. The few times I have seen her on TV she insults entire races of people, entire Religions, and entire Political views. With her it is her way or the highway. I do not care if she is pretty. I would not spend the night with her. I would like the TV networks to have more self control and not worry so much for the ratings as for the news.

Coulter is a very visible commentator, and it starts with two basic facts. She is obviously smart and articulate, and presents her viewpoints well in public. Along with that, Coulter has an argumentative style that works on TV.

Fact number two is that she's attractive. That's going to help her get on TV.

She has parlayed that into books, articles and other media opportunities. I often don't agree with her, as I don't think she sees many grays in her black-and-white world, but I can't doubt her effectiveness in presenting a point of view.

Ann Coulter is right more often than is convenient for the Left.

She enjoys a safer position than a man because, as a woman, they can't just assassinate her as they do her male counterparts.

If you see her points of view as extreme, understand that people see yours as extreme, as well.

So what's the truth? If it's based on thought and fact, you'll agree with Ann more often than you think.

I'm not entirely convinced that "she" is even a "she" at all.

Obviously she is extreme.

Extremists are in it for the money. They throw out outrageous statements to incite discord amongst their audiences and then collect their paychecks at the end of the week.

She is opinionated. She attracts people who have no opinions of their own. People listen to her because they agree. People listen to her because they disagree. Adds up to a lot of people listening.

Form your own opinions and back them up.
